Seacliff Haulage Ltd is a family-run haulage business established in 1982 and based in East Lothian, Scotland. The business was started by John McKinnell and his wife Muriel. John was previously a Farm Manager who acquired two trucks and began packing and delivering vegetables to the wholesale market. In 1986 he was joined in the business by his son, Graeme McKinnell and soon afterwards the haulage side of the business was expanded by acquiring more trucks and employing more drivers. In 2008 Seacliff were keen to expand their operations and purchased a depot in Arbroath in order to better serve their customers in the North of Scotland.
Seacliff Haulage Ltd is a leading provider of haulage services throughout the UK. With vehicles based in both locations, we can ensure that they are accessible to most farms, distilleries, mills and quarries. With over thirty year’s experience in the Haulage industry, we have gained an excellent reputation for efficiency, customer service and reliability.
Our fleet comprises of 39 trucks, predominantly Scania, MAN, and DAF vehicles. Our fleet includes 44 tonne curtain-sided and flat-bed artics, for maximum general haulage flexibility, each with air-ride suspension to protect your freight. Our Trailers are maintained in-house with a stringent policy of regular renewal, and the tractor units are maintained through our maintenance contracts with DAF, MAN and Scania. Our units are chosen specifically for their proven reliability and the back up we receive from MAN, Scania and DAF. All of our vehicles are consistently maintained to the very highest standards.
